Short tapestry style earrings with a playful composition and packing lots of colour in a neat arrangement.

Here, two spaces with contrasting dynamics. A dark one where defined forms are, and a translucent glob within which they are free-form. Harmony reigns in both.

DESCRIPTION:

2.5 cm wide by 7 cm long, 3.1 grams each side. Small tapestry style beaded earrings stitched on 14 KT half-circle gold hoops.

Colours: black, vanilla, translucent, tawny orange, ochre, sonata blue, amber, blue aventurine, and pastel aqua.

Right and left sides are designed to mirror.

Materials used: Japanese glass beads and nylon thread; and the half-circle hoops are made of hand cut and forged 14 KT gold filled wire.
